Hosted by Leesburg UMC and celebrating 10 years, the Daddy-Daughter Dance is an event held annually, typically the Saturday night before Valentine’s Day, for dads and their daughters to have fun and build lasting memories. Geared for girls of all ages, the Daddy-Daughter Dance has continued to see sell out crowds each year and now includes three separate dances. The early afternoon dance, where the atmosphere, snacks, and music are all focused toward the littlest "princesses,"  begins at 4:00 p.m. The other two dances begin at 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. and all ages are welcome to attend. Dress is optional, but most attendees put on their best for the big night out.

The volunteer committee that organizes, plans, decorates and puts on the Daddy-Daughter Dance has become adept at making the event special. From turning the event location, which in 2015 was the Bindery at Oakland Library, into a wonderland fit for a magical night to making sure snacks are elegantly prepared and presented to assuring the age- and family-appropriateness of the music provided, the organizers leave no detail unexamined.

As an additional outreach, Leesburg UMC collects dresses for those that need one and attendees can visit the fellowship hall at the church to pick out a dress to wear.  Stay tuned form more details.

Tickets and t-shirts can be purchased by clicking the purchase tickets link above or by visiting the church office.  T-shirts ordered on or before January 20 can be picked up at the dance.  T-shirts ordered after January 20 will be mailed to the address used to order the tickets.  If special arrangements need to be made, please contact the church office.  See you there!
